Tanya Vegvary Plescia is an internationally acclaimed pianist and composer. Winner of numerous awards in both performance and composition, her music has been hailed as “pushing musical boundaries” and “bringing a fire and passion to the literature”. Tanya enjoys traveling and performing around the world, and working with other musicians to create engaging new music and concerts. She founded the Sacramento Piano Conservatory to foster the development of musical talent and education and to bring collaborative learning experiences to developing musicians young and old. In her free time Tanya enjoys yoga and knitting, and playing with her blue nose pit-bull, Olga.
Anne Plescia is a versatile musician, starting her violin journey at the tender age of 3. Graduating from the University of the Pacific with a double major in violin and viola performance, she has since made her mark on both stage and social media. Anne’s career highlights include touring South Korea as the violinist for Chicago the Musical and holding prominent positions in Sacramento chamber groups and orchestras, showcasing her exceptional talent as a violinist and violist. Her captivating presence extends to TikTok, where she is recognized for her violin covers of pop and R&B hits, reposted and recognized by artists such as Alicia Keys and SZA. For the past four years, Anne has shared her expertise by teaching violin and piano to students of all ages.
Zhanna Belokopytova offers a coordinated approach to piano instruction for beginning, intermediate and advanced students of all ages. Graduating from Sacramento State with a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance, Zhanna has been playing piano for over ten years while professionally teaching for seven years. A first place winner of the Young Talents Music School Competition in 2014, she is also a member of the Music Teachers’ Association of California. Her students participate in the Certificate of Merit Program and she offers lessons in English and Russian. Zhanna enjoys sharing the beauty and complexity of the piano with others, her vision is to support and encourage emotional growth in the developing student.
Lucas Bakker is a Dutch and Mexican-American composer, multi-instrumentalist, and teacher who prides himself on blending his multi-cultural heritage into his works. From scoring films (Search and Destroy, available on Amazon Prime Video) to releasing his solo and collaborative efforts in the Neo Classical and Electronic Experimental genres where he has amassed nearly 1 million streams across major streaming platforms, Bakker spreads his love of music every day. Backpacking in nature, getting lost in a sci-fi or fantasy novel, and binging a great anime are his ideas of a good time. Also yummy food.
